As part of the Making Friends – Mad Hatter Party documentation we describe how you can involve members of your church and film them reading a chapter of ‘Friends of God’ to use in the teaching.

It might take a bit of gentle persuasion but adding some character outfits from the book could help children’s imaginations. You can add as many special effects and pigeon splats as you like.

Push it even further and film the readings on a train journey. This can be done easily with a smartphone or basic video camera system. As soon as we’ve created a copy, we’ll post it here.
